Live coding introduction workshop
Curious about where music and programming meet? Live coding is an artistic practice combining real-time programming and musical performance. In this hands-on workshop you'll learn the basics with tools such as Sonic Pi, SuperCollider, FoxDot or Pure Data: building rhythmic patterns, generating melodies, manipulating samples, and hearing the result of your code instantly. No prior programming or music experience needed. Workshop from 2pm to 5pm, followed by a short showcase for those who want to give it a go. Bring a laptop and headphones or earphones if you can. All audiences, pay what you want, booking recommended (free).
